Support your community by shopping at your local markets. It's a great place to enjoy the sun and have some fun!
Hi, name is Logan. I am 2 years old. I really like helping my mommy & daddy. I help wash dishes, mix stuff in a bowl for dinner & clean my place at the table. I water the flowers in our front yard. I love swinging! I have 3 brothers.

Cooking Ideas & Tips
Did you know that you can cook noodles in cranberry juice instead of water! This will add a little flavor and a lot color. Serve it with chicken or eat it with butter & oil.
Have you seen your Mom or Dad pour some beer over the chicken that he or she is cooking? Sometimes adults use wine or beer when cooking, but that doesn't mean that you have to be 21 years old to eat it! When you cook with any type of alcohol it is just for flavor because the heat "cooks" the alcohol out!
Remember this tip the next time you watch your Mom or Dad cooking and you see him adding a little beer to the rice or wine to the spaghetti sauce. Have fun and enjoy!
How do I make my garden grow?
Early spring is the best time to start your garden--inside of course. This time of year is still cold and can hurt your veggies if they are outside, so a starter kit is the best way. You can make your own out of paper egg cartons, soil & seeds. Keep your starters by a window that has a lot of sunshine, but out of reach from mischief animals & little brothers or sisters!
Once it is time to plant outside, you can cut out the starter and plant the entire starter(including the carton) in the garden. It is safe to bury the egg carton because it is biodegradable, so you will also be recycling while you create veggies for your family! There are plenty of friendly and safe ways to feed your veggie garden. Ask your local garden store for a safe feeding aid for your garden.
What can I recycle & where?
It may take an extra step to recycle but it's worth it! If we want to keep this earth clean and green we have to do our part. It's just like cleaning your room. If your put your dirty clothes in the hamper right after changing out of them or put your toys away when you are done playing, then you will have less to clean up at the end of the day. Keeping things off the floor, like clothes or trash, will help your room stay clean and hopefully smelling good.
So the next time you finish a yogurt or applesauce rinse out the container and put it a recycle bin. A lot of play places are starting to do their part by providing a bin for trash along with a bin for recycle. So the next time you throw something away, take a moment and read what the bin is for--it may be for "cans" only.
Recycling is more than putting things in the right bin. You can recycle or reuse a piece of paper by using both sides, cutting up used paper for the bottom of your hamsters cage or find a second use for something you emptied before throwing it away!
